EPS Raw Material Production
EPS raw material production involves a combination of chemical and physical processes, including suspension polymerization, extrusion, drying, sieving, and coating. Each of these steps significantly influences the final performance of the raw material.
Alpaslan Günyol gained deep expertise in EPS production between 2010 and 2022, directly contributing to various phases of this complex process.
EPS Conversion Process
The conversion process is where raw material performance truly comes to life. As a thermoplastic, EPS softens with heat, allowing Pentane to expand and form its well-known cellular structure. The success of this transformation relies heavily on using the right infrastructure, steam conditions, and timing.
From 2013 to 2025, Alpaslan Günyol conducted extensive field and customer visits, analyzing how raw materials interact with different processing systems. At EPS X, we continue this approach—matching the right raw material to the right infrastructure to maximize performance and efficiency.
Market and Customer Experience
EPS is used across diverse industries and displays unique behavior in various market conditions. Demand fluctuates periodically, and regional pricing is closely tied to Styrene Monomer costs.
Since 2017, and continuing through 2025, Alpaslan Günyol has actively engaged in regional EPS markets. At EPS X, we prepare regular market reports for both converters and suppliers, providing transparent raw material pricing and facilitating seamless connections between buyers and sellers.
