I would like to share my mid-month Styrene Monomer market assessment.

​

European Styrene Monomer spot prices are currently trading at around 1,550 USD/t, while Styrene Monomer prices in China are observed at approximately 1,260 USD/t.

​

The weak demand environment observed in recent weeks has started to weigh on the supply–demand balance, leading to softer pricing dynamics. In parallel, the pricing premium and speculative “price bubble” previously seen across the product supply chain appears to have largely dissipated.

​

Market activity is currently dominated by need-based purchasing, while buyers continue to maintain a cautious approach.
